he second type is a bit harder to characterize, but would include the following examples:
On the Ave in New York City,
Hotel Monaco all locations,
The Hotel, South Beach, Miami,
The Pier 5 Hotel in Baltimore,
The Hotel Metro in Milwaukee,
The Time Hotel in New York City.

he last category is easiest, and would include:
The Ambassador New Orleans, in three old warehouse buildings;
Dylan in New York, in the old Chemist Club building;
The Harbor Court in San Francisco, in an old YMCA building,
International House Hotel in New Orleans, once a large bank building,
The Napa River Inn in Napa, California, in an old industrial building,
The Archbishop's Mansion in San Francisco, built for the Archbishop in 1904.
