The Beacon Located on Broadway in the upper 70's, this magificent hotel never disappoints. All rooms have kitchenette and are delightfully decorated. It's in an area of wonderful grocery stores and delis, close to Central Park and between two subway stops. It's so reasonably priced for the services offered that it's one of the most popular of all New York hotels. Marble baths, air conditioning, cable television, microwaves, spacious rooms (many with views) and a genuinely caring staff add to the ambiance and value. Location Map Have you stayed in this hotel? The Belleclaire This hotel has undergone a massive restoration, which is wonderful because the building is unique. Curved and crenellated corners, carved stone and marble... Still a budget property, the decor is now "Deco meets Scandinavia," with clean lines and comfort. Choose from ensuite or shared bath rooms. The location is excellent. Milburn When we stayed at this little hotel, the room we had looked exactly like this photo. We actually had some great views, too... the Chrysler Building from the window by the bed and the Hudson River from the window by the table. We loved the little kitchen, and shopped at the gourmet delis and groceries in the neighborhood. Coffee is complimentary. the hotel is family run and family friendly; each room has a VCR; there's a large library of films to "borrow," complimentary. The hotel also has a small fitness center. It's reasonably priced and the location is great. Location Map Have you stayed in this hotel? Please review it for us.
