Amsterdam Court Newly renovated, this 110 guestroom hotel is located a few blocks from the noise and crowds of Broadway but is nonetheless in the heart of the Times Square district. All rooms feature Belgian linens, CD player and alarm clock, cable television, telephones with data port, and mable-floored bathrooms. Location Map Have you stayed in this hotel? The Edison The original Art Deco lobby remains intact after the recent facelift of this venerable New York tourist-class hotel. Happily the rates remain quite good, and the location is fantastic for theatre-goers. It's a huge hotel, one of the largest in Manhattan, with a readily-recognized building dating back to the 1920s. The Muse This boutique hotel in Times Square has pleasant rooms in trendy decor. It's quiet, which is nice, but we find the staff a bit too stiff and pretentious. On the other hand, it's pet friendly, in a great location, and reasonably priced for its class. Each room has an ISDN line, there's a second floor fitness center, and its restaurant, District, has garnered great reviews. Location Map Have you stayed in this hotel? Please review it for us.

Paramount Ian Schraeger and Philippe Starck's whimsical collaboration makes the 610 teeny rooms in this hotel liveable and fun. The lobby alone offers enough interest to keep you amazed for days, with its off-kilter stairway and roses growing out of the marble walls. A cool restaurant and nightclub round out the scene, but who would have guessed that this über-chic hostellery would also embrace kids? Welcome gifts, treats, games and videos are all available for the young 'uns. We like that. Location Map Have you stayed in this hotel? Please review it for us.

Time Trendy, hip and chic. Ok, there are lots of those in NYC, so what sets this one apart? URBAN hip, chic styling, with minimalist furnishings in bright colors. The rooms are smallish, the building dates from the 1920s but the contemporary and vibrant design, upscale amenities and 18-hour room service makes a real difference.
